नारायणीयम् is a free site for reading, hearing and learning Śrīman Nārāyaṇīyam, run by an individual as a personal project. By using it you accept what follows.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no payment, no subscription and no advertising.

What it is for

Reading, reciting and memorising Śrīman Nārāyaṇīyam. Please do not use it to attack the site, to overload it, or to collect its content in bulk by automated means.

The verses, and the recordings

Nārāyaṇīyam, by Melpattur Nārāyaṇa Bhaṭṭatiri, is in the public domain. The text here was prepared from a printed Telugu edition, converted to Devanagari, proofread, and checked verse by verse against its metre. Places where editions read differently are listed for review, and some remain.

The recordings belong to those who made them, and are here for study.

Mistakes

This is a study aid, not an authority. It is offered as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Editions of the text differ from one another, and errors certainly remain. Do not rely on it for anything that matters without checking a printed edition. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from its use.

Corrections are genuinely welcome — please write.
